Dr. NYESHEJA Muhire Enan is a PhD degree holder in Satellite Imagery Analysis and Cartography obtained from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in China. He is Dean Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences at University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK) . He has a Master of Computer Applications from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), India and a Bachelor degree in Information Management Systems from the Adventist University of Central Africa (AUCA). He served as an Acting Head and Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology in the University of Rwanda (Former KIST) from 1999 to 2008. From 2008 to date, he served as the Director of ICT and Senior Lecturer. He was appointed Dean of Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences in 2021. He published and co-authored more than 25 research papers in international journals and conferences. He supervised master’s programme students and worked as an external examiner for PhD students in UR and UNILAK as well as in ACEIoT (African Center of Excellence in Internet of Things) based in UR( University of Rwanda). His research interests cover Remote Sensing, Geographical Information Systems, Land use and Cover Change, Data Mining, Internet of Things and Machine Learning.
