Dr Niyonambaza Mihigo Irene is a Director of Academic Services at Rwanda Polytechnic -Kigali College and Visiting Lecturer at University of Rwanda. Her professional and academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Rwanda University, where her academic excellence and passion for technology emerged. She then ventured into ICT regulation, demonstrating exceptional commitment at the ICT Regulation Authority, earning recognition for her regulatory expertise and dedication to fostering innovation. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, She pursued a Master of Science in Operational Communications, blending technical expertise with strategic communication skills. This led to roles in academia, where she excelled as a teaching staff member and eventually as an Academic Manager, shaping curricula and nurturing learning environments. Furthering her education, she obtained a Ph.D. in IoT Embedded Computing Systems, focusing on innovative solutions for today’s Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) challenges. Her research contributions positioned her thought of research in AIoT and embedded systems, while her career serves as inspiration for aspiring professionals in the dynamic realm of digital world.
