ACEIoT attended a consultative dialogue on possible RUFORUM support to Regional student’s recruitment under your ACE project. Additionally the meeting also provides a platform to further reflect and generate consensus on effective linkages between ACEs project and the current RUFORUM Graduate Teaching Assistantship (GTA) initiative. It was held on 23rd & 24th

June 2017 at RUFORUM Secretariat, Kampala,Uganda.

The objectives of the Dialogue were:

Provide opportunity for networkingand interactions among selected ACE projects
Identify potential synergies across the selected ACE’s
Explore how selected ACE’s can benefit from the RUFORUM existing mechanisms such asGTA
Identify existing and complementary initiatives ( i.e. funding, staff exchanges etc.) that canenhance ACE implementation
