Staff from ACEIoT attended the attended the "ITU-Academia Partnership Meeting: Developing Skills for the Digital Era " meeting that took place in Budapest, Hungary from 19-21 September 2017. The meeting was organized by the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and hosted by the National Media and Infocommunications Authority of Hungary (NMHH). Prof. Santhi Kumaran presented on the topic "The Role of Academic Institutions in filling the Skills Gap".

The meeting brought together universities from all over the world that have an interest in the topic of information and communication technology (ICT), with a view to discussing emerging technology trends and how they impact on academic programmes, sharing latest developments in teaching and learning in the digital era, and examining approaches towards building skills for a 21st century workforce.
