Teaching position opportunity in ACEIoT

The African Center of Excellence in Internet of Things (ACEIoT) is established at the University of Rwanda (UR), College of Science and Technology with financial support from the World Bank ACE II project. ACEIoT aims at training a critical mass of African scientists and engineers in the field of IoT through higher education and research. The center is offering Master’s and PhD programmes in Wireless Intelligent Sensor Networking and Embedded Computing Systems.

The center collaborates with industry to deliver innovative graduate teaching and research programs. The trained engineers will develop and deploy innovative IoT-enabled services, to address development challenges across all Eastern and Southern African (ESA) high-priority development areas.

The ACEIoT is seeking highly qualified candidates in the field of Wireless Intelligent Sensor Networks and Embedded Computing Systems to teach some modules to masters’ students. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. with either academia and/or industry experience in Internet of Things and related technology domains. They should also have a passion for teaching and doing research in collaboration with ACEIoT.
