Global challenges in Africa compared to Japan

Today 11th March 2018, African Center of Excellence in Internet of Things(ACEIoT) in partnership with the University of Tokyo organize a one day interactive workshop which will bring together masters of students from the University of Rwanda and University of Tokyo from different discipline of Engineering to discuss about socio-economic challenges.This workshop is organized in the framework of Worldleading Innovative Graduate Study Programme-Innovations for Future society (WINGSIFS) initiated by the University of Tokyo with the purpose to strengthen graduate student’s capability of identifying socio-economic challenges based on specialized and multidisciplinary knowledge, proposing holistic solutions, and implementing such solutions in partnership with diverse stakeholders in a global setting. The aim of this workshop is to provide a specific experience in order for the participants to become specialists in African global issues and solutions.
